World Health Organization is a UN Agency that is concerned with public health at an international level. It was founded on 7th April 1948. In order to mark its founding, WHO started celebrating this day as World Health Day and uses the day to spread awareness about health issues that most people are suffering from.

The intent behind this World Health day is to draw attention to global health issues of major importance, and this year’s theme is Universal Health Coverage for everyone and everywhere and its importance in implementing it on a global scale as soon as possible.
